Stefano Stasio (Born 1948) is known for Painting.

The painter and installation artist Stefano Di Stasio was born in Naples in 1948.  He studied sporadically at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome.

For the greater part he dedicated himself autodidactically to art. The artist began in the mid-1970's with concept art and eventually worked up to installations as a member of the group Perimetro.  He later turned to a figurative style partially influenced by Old Master paintings.

Di Stasio became a protagonist of the romantic and fantastic movement, which emerged in Italy in the 1980's refusing abstraction and concept art.
